Challenges of graphic installation in cold weather
The change of the season brings more challenges to the process of graphic installation and the material reacts to different temperatures. When it comes to external installations the weather can affect removal of any existing prints and installations of new graphics.
The first challenge is to remove the old print. It can become very rigid at low temperatures, making it brittle and tricky to remove.
In cold weather it can disrupt the process of removing the prints, but it is beneficial for the installation. The opposite occurs when the weather is hot, when the material is more prone to melt.
